教材介紹Textbook Introduction

Perspectives共分四級，是適合高中使用的英語綜合技能學(xué)習(xí)教材。Perspectives讓學(xué)習(xí)者學(xué)會批判性思維，掌握用英語表達(dá)自己的語言技能。指導(dǎo)詳細(xì)的語言課程，現(xiàn)實世界中的故事，以及TED促進(jìn)學(xué)習(xí)者創(chuàng)造性思維和有效溝通能力的培養(yǎng)。通過Perspectives，學(xué)習(xí)者可以產(chǎn)生開放的心態(tài)，攻擊的眼光，用英語清晰地表達(dá)自己的觀點。

TED促進(jìn)英語學(xué)習(xí)的演講Ted speech promotes English learning

每個模塊從不同的角度討論一個主題，并介紹一個相關(guān)的主題TED Talks視頻讓學(xué)生在課堂上接觸到來自現(xiàn)實世界的頂級英語素材，喚起他們在充分鍛煉英語能力的同時，從新穎的角度看待世界。Each unit discusses a topic from a different perspective, and introduces a related Ted talks video, so that students can get access to top English materials from the real world in class, and inspire them to fully exercise their English ability while looking at the world from a new perspective.

增強(qiáng)思辨能力Strengthen the ability of thinking

注重培養(yǎng)思維能力，傳授相關(guān)策略，讓學(xué)生學(xué)會分析（analyze）、評定（evaluate）新合新信息和各種有效信息 (synthesize)，從而形成自己的見解。Focus on cultivating critical thinking ability, teach relevant strategies, let students learn to analyze and evaluate new information, and integrate all kinds of effective information to form their own opinions.

教學(xué)內(nèi)容Course content

每個模塊分為以下五個課程模塊（Lesson A~E）Each unit is divided into the following five modules (lesson a ~ e)Unit Opener & Lesson A：Vocabulary

Lesson A:Listening & Grammar

聽力內(nèi)容呈現(xiàn)世界，在情境中學(xué)習(xí)語法知識，在聽力語境中練習(xí)訓(xùn)練。進(jìn)一步鞏固語法知識，開放式互動討論激發(fā)個性化語言。Listening content presents a vast world, learning grammar knowledge in the context, practicing in the listening context. The grammar explanation and practice at the end of the book further consolidate grammar knowledge, and open interactive discussion stimulates personalized language.

Lesson B:Vocabulary Building,Reading camp; Critical Thinking

Lesson C:Grammar 繼續(xù)加強(qiáng)學(xué)生的語法能力，分析語法功能，了解語法的功效，使學(xué)生對語法有更深的理解。Continue to strengthen students’ grammatical ability, analyze grammatical functions, understand the role of grammar, so that students have a deeper understanding of grammar.

Lesson D:Authentic Listening Skills & TED Talk

在真實語境中培養(yǎng)聽力技能，TED 演講引導(dǎo)學(xué)生保持開放的心態(tài)，激勵學(xué)生從多個角度深入思考全球話題。To develop listening skills in a real context, Ted lectures help students keep an open mind and inspire them to think deeply about global topics from multiple perspectives.
